About Sam

Originally hailing from Chapel Hill, NC, Sam is a true North Carolinian and was raised in the Real Estate Development Business. Both of his parents developed property in the triangle and Bald Head Island which eventually led them to Coastal North Carolina. Real Estate has always been a part of Sam's life.

 

Sam has his undergraduate degrees from both the College of Charleston in Charleston, SC and the University of North Carolina at Wilmington. His professional career has been centered in sales with a focus on marketing and customer service. Sam knows the importance of building relationships and a client-first approach. He is happy to call the Wrightsville Beach area home and believes "it's easy to sell what you love." Sam has lived in the Wrightsville area for the last 25 years and knows the ins and outs of the local market. Sam is an experienced luxury real estate broker and has been a part of many record-breaking sales over the past decade. He first set the record in New Hanover County and 2018 and repeated that feat twice in 2022 with back-to-back sales on Figure Eight Island. Additionally, he also brokered the record-breaking sale in Wrightsville Beach in 2023. He consistently ranks near the top of the Landmark Sotheby’s International and has been named to the REAL TRENDS LIST the last three years with an impressive $34,700,000.00 in volume in 2023. Sam’s primary focus is to be the leader in the waterfront luxury Real Estate Market in Southeastern North Carolina. His expertise is Wrightsville Beach, Figure Eight Island, Landfall and the surrounding areas. Sam's strongest asset is the ability to understand his customer's wants and needs and deliver a product to match with uncompromising service, honesty and integrity. In his spare time, Sam likes spending time with his wife Michelle, their three teenage sons (Parker, Merrick and Michael) and their two-year-old daughter Caroline. Sam is also an active supporter and former board member of Wrightsville Beach School Foundation, a local non-profit out of Wrightsville Beach. Additionally, he proudly supports the Good Shepherd Organization and youth sports in and around the Wilmington metro area.
